Α & Ω Village Project Principles and Standards

Our mission is based on Christian principles, values and beliefs, which are shared without reservation. In our outreach to orphaned/ abandoned children along with those whom we will work, we specifically will:Love is major Christian principle

  • Require the highest Christian morals and ethical standards in all aspects of the project
  • Respect language, culture, and laws of host countries
  • Respect and protect rights of all people regardless of social standing, race, or religious beliefs
  • Co-operate with the national government/ local administrators and appreciate their help
  • Widely involve local churches and organizations
  • Train and employ local people, particularly the elderly and women
  • Reduce poverty, improve people's quality of life and provide job opportunities
  • Work in an environmentally friendly manner
  • Conduct a training program for all volunteers and interns wishing to participate in our overseas projects
  • Follow standards of strict accountability. (All villages will be linked by a computer network to the Regional Offices and Headquaters for this purpose.)
  • Document results and report regularly to host governments and our supporters
  • Welcome new visions and challenges with appropriate assessment of risks
  • Introduce and promote new technologies
  • Form strategic alliances with other organizations and business groups
  • Work quietly to avoid unnecessary publicity
  • Avoid involvement in controversial agendas of political parties or special interest groups.
